The experience was marred by delays in room readiness, dusty decorations, and a lackluster "free breakfast. " Despite the shortcomings, the prime location salvages the stay.

I greatly enjoyed the hotel, it met my requirements. Generally, the place was gorgeous and had so very friendly and extraordinarily friendly staff almost in a criminal manner by the manager. The room I booked was needs updated decor and available with a jacuzzi.

The views from The Sandcastle were absolutely perfect, overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was a refreshing way to start the day. One particularly memorable experience was enjoying a delicious lunch at the picnic area, feeling the ocean breeze and soaking in the laid-back beach atmosphere. The thoughtful addition of a private balcony in some rooms was a delightful surprise, providing a peaceful spot to unwind and take in the beautiful surroundings.

I had a great time at Sandcastle Resort. The location was perfect, close to the pier with easy beach and boardwalk access. The staff, especially the front desk and breakfast room team, were friendly and accommodating. The pool was fantastic, and my son loved it. The room was clean and comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave was convenient. We felt safe at all times, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back for our next visit.

It was really amazing 3 days, would love to stay here again. We appreciated the hotel, it was original and had favourable location close enough to the water front and arcades and shopping and the boardwalk next to the ocean. The service was friendly, the staff were so very friendly and fabulously friendly.

the location is unbeatable - right by the beach and close to the aquarium and adventure park. the breakfast helpers were really courteous and the maintenance staff was friendly and helpful. plus, the front desk staff was exceptional.

The location was favourable and perfect in a very convenient area, next to center of town, shops, restaurants, and most importantly the beach, and the boardwalk and Atlantic Avenue. Plus it was 5 mins drive from Lake Holly. The room I booked was needs updated decor and available with a very nice view and a jacuzzi, as for instance.

Sandcastle Resort provided a mixed experience. The location and view were fantastic, but the old bathroom and uncomfortable bed were drawbacks. A one-night stay was sufficient for me.

I stayed at Sandcastle Resort only for transit during my travel and found the location to be very convenient, as it is just 30 km away from Norfolk International. The hotel's proximity to the beach and boardwalk attractions made it a great stopover for some relaxation before continuing my journey.

The breakfast area was a bit disappointing compared to the nice lobby. The quality of the food was not up to par, with stale cereal and overcooked sausage and bacon, and the overall cleanliness of the dining area left much to be desired.
